Soft soles on my horse

Hempstead, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, it has been a long time since I have been to Dave's. I need some help with my horse Pal.

Pal has soft soles (front only). He also has very little if any hoof growth. I have struggled with this in the past, but after keeping him on Ferrier's Choice (with biotin), working very closely with my ferrier, and keeping his feet dry, we were able to get growth, hard soles, and keep shoes on his front feet.

As some of you know, it has been very wet down here in the Houston area. I have been keeping Pal in a stall, trying hard to keep the stall clean and dry, and then turning him out late in the afternoon when things have dried out. Still, his soles show no improvement.

Any help would be appreciated.

Melissa
