I always forget what to do with this flower, which is such a shame because it is so pretty.
As the flower grows, the lower part begins to lose the color, although the tip is still a pretty red, and continues to grow. Are you supposed to break off the flower when a lot of it begins to look washed out? Will this allow the tip to begin growing again from the broken spot, so that all of it is bright red again?
