What to do with birch branches?

Hello,

I have never made any garden art before, but I have been saving fallen birch branches for a year now because I like the look of them and want to do something with them. I've amassed quite a few, and now my neighbors are planning to cut one of the trunks down (which is fine with me), so there will be plenty of green branches to work with, too.

What should I do with them??? I don't have a lot of time or knowledge, but I just know they can be made into something cool. I'm thinking of maybe bundling lots of them together and making some sort of arch to go over our plain garden gate. Is there any type of book or website that you know of that might have plans or suggestions?
