My butterfly bush is just now branching out of the ground and is not as full as it usually is. Do you think that freaky early frost affected it? I depend on it to fill a corner of my garden with its arching purple blooms. Also, a few of its leaves have little holes in them and it's never been bothered by insects before.
Butterfly bush is scrawny
I lost all 4 of my very healthy butterfly bushes to the winter and late freeze. I had to buy a new one. I think it is Pink Delight. I was just sick over losing the yellow one. So rejoice that yours even survived.
