Veggies to feed to cows?

Hello,
My garden has supplied an abundance of squash that suddenly the worms have found, and I'm not going to eat them *g*. The cows keep looking at them over the fence, and I wondered if it was okay to feed the squash to them? What about the zucchinis that hid until they're the size of baseball bats?
If those are okay, how about anything they should _not_ get?
