i just began my first mosaic with most material i want - native american jewels and icons, arizona rocks, tiles, , glass tesserae, grout, sealant, adhesive. i'm having a lot of trouble cutting the tiles in half diagonally with the tile cutters, so much so that i switched to a fimo acrylic tool in the hopes that less pressure meant the glass wouldn't crack so readily.
people here have so much experience! any advice for a first timer who has dabbled a lot in simulated glass staining panels?
