My 50 some years old Rhody

Thought you might like to see the old lovable monster. Since this pic I have trimmed it back to try and get it to fill in more.

That is so pretty. She has been around a long time.

Probably Roseum Elegans, a very popular, widely-used, hard-to-kill hybrid. My old house had them up to the second-floor windows - each 2-3 times the size of that one (around 18 years from the time the house was built). In bloom, the house disappeared in the flowers. The new owner "cut down all those overgrown bushes" ... :-( I'd *happily* have taken them away (which would have taken some serious time and equipment).
