Mopping up old sins and dealing with a weedy hillside

Ulster Park, NY

This is where the summer has gone, so far, pretty normal actually.
A dozen large shrubs had to be moved, two hedges planted, etc.
Concrete-wise, the first thing was weeding and re-setting some paved areas that had stone set in stone dust (a weed fertility clinic).
Once the stones were level, weedfree and sitting on firm base, I swept (and packed) dry portland/sand/stonedust into the cracks and watered it down.

The last several years, by July no stone was visible, it was a losing battle.
Never again will I set stone in anything but concrete!
Here's a picture of work in progress. This area is done, but there are more to do when my "summer boy" recovers from a sprained ankle (not incurred here).
