Sick Bougainvillia

Anyone know what's the matter with my bougie. I've had it for years & the leaves have started looking sickly - sort of limp with yellowish spots that look like a yellow version of rose black spot. Since I took this photo http://members.aol.com/rosmwilkinson/images/P8080001.JPG
I've repotted it & it WAS pot bound. Could that be the problem?

All I know about Bouganvilla is they don't like much water.

My brug is fed with tomato fertiliser every day & it gets watered sometimes 3 x a day. Noticed some small white empty insect skins on the underside of the leaves. Even the young leaves are going yellow.Hope someone can help

my pink bougainvillia seems to be just the opposite about water. i have to give a drink almost every 4-5 days or it'll start dropping it's leaves. it probably is root bound a little. it really seems to like my south facing window since i put it there in the beginning of spring it's done just wonderful in fact i took about 3-4 cuttings from it to try and start but my kitten seemed to want them more then me :) oh well it's doing so good i could take more from it again. in my "big book" of plants it says that they are prone to spider mites, whiteflies,leaf cutters, rollers, and aphids can be problems. Bacterial and fungal leaf spots are also common.
it doesn't say how to get rid of any of the pests and diseases though, sorry

Thanks for that. I found a brill website that told me all about them. Apparently the PH of the soil has to be slightly acid else they get yellow spots & as I live in a hard water area that could be the problem. I've watered in some sequestrene so time will tell. Don't know why i psted a pic of the brug.......reckon my brug query has a pic of a bougie!
