Hypertufa Instructional Sites. Any teacher in Ft Lauderdale?

Fort Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10b)

Ah, if only I could join an experienced Hypertufa group in Fort Lauderdale, Florida!

I have chattahoochee around my pool so am unable to plant anything in this area. The filthy Fichus hedge to the east constantly drops its leaves, resulting in my pool being forever filled with these horrors! I've seen a posted pic of a pure white hypertufa trough sitting on tufa 'feet' on the web and wouldI like to duplicate it, creating an attractive solid barrier along the entire east side of my pool. I have wooden planks there at the moment and they certainly do the job. But look so unattractive! Pure white, straight sides, with no gaps between the troughs! That would certainly solve my problem and I'd certainly enjoy the plants thriving in the troughs!

Just wish I could find someone to guide me! I'm willing to travel a fair distance for instruction (within reason, of course), or have someone come to my house - I'm flexible (and very willing to be a good student)!

I did make a little bird bath 'dripper'! Certainly a First Attempt!

I posted the following information re Hypertufa Sites on another DG forum.

Perhaps there may be newbies like myself who'd enjoy the excellent instructional material I've found over the years.
