safe, lead free hoses

There was a recent report on the news about how much lead is in most garden hoses and the brass fittings. The report recommends a few alternates. Does anyone have a good hose they use that is safe to drink from. I use the hose on herbs and to fill the bird bath. I don't want to put lead into the ground water either.
