Then decided to find out more about them.

Here is an article or two that explains what they are:

Gloria, I'm curious--did you receive the mums you ordered yet? What size pot do you get for your $1.40?

They were rooted liners in 5 in. pots. Im having trouble getting them going because of the heat here. Next year Ill order before the end of April.

Gloria, where did you order your Belgian Mums from. I am just getting back into Mums after many years and want to grow different kinds. I have just potted 10 pots of Cascades today and will pot 3 more tomorrow. In the past I have had over a thousand blooms per plant. I will not get that many this year, late start. I will be posting pictures of how I grow them, just in case others would like too. Thanks.

After making such a big deal about the Belgian mums, I have seen them now at Lowe's and Wal-Mart! $1.48 each LOL! am so sorry Gloria, I thought they were the up and coming thing, and not generally available.

They are the ones with the little teeny flowers, but there are a LOT of them.

Illoquin: I don't think they were available last year. Ill have to take a look. Now that I have some I definitely need more. Mine aren't doing much in this heat though.

They tore up the Tuscaloosa Walmart also and took out the garden section. Put a lot of pillows in there instead.
