I sarted a couple Brugs from a cutting last winter.Than I planted it outdoors and they are growing but they are not blooming. One is a little over a foot tall and te other one is about three feet tall. Any ideas wha to do ? Or do they need to get some age on them ?
Brug won't Bloom
Linda there is a forum just for Brugs. Im sure you will get more answers there. I can tell you that Brugs need to come to a Y before they bloom by that I mean the trunk will form a Y shape then it will start blooming. If your cuttings were taken above the Y of the plant they will come to bloom a bit faster than those cuttings taken below the Y.
I feed my brugs twice weekly Spring thru Fall to encourage blooms. There are also other products you can use like Messenger to help things along even faster.
Check out the Brugmansia forum for more info
