He came back.

After a five day absence Lance (short for Lancelot) came wandering in.

He wasn't interested in eating out of my hand.

He was more interested in the porch.

He was totaly different than normal. He wasn't very interested in eating and he was a lot edgier than normal. He stayed until almost dark and then wandered off into the trees to roost.

Definitely the same one? Maybe you have a neighbour who has several, and you're getting a different individual each time.

Pretty sure it's the same one. I found out that the neighbor who had the flock of nine sold most of them.

also he comes in from the same way and leaves the same way.

At 6:30 this morning Lance was at the front door to let me know that the feeders were empty and I should do some thing about it.
