Fockia edulis and others

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 4a)

I will post pictures of several of my caudiciforms, including a few where I have lost tags. Any comments about incorrect ID, culture suggestions, etc. are very welcome.

The first is Fockia edulis:

#4 is Pelargonium klinghardtense knuth; I am not sure if this is considered a caudiciform or not though:

#9 (and last), trichodindema bulbosum; it has lovely purple flowers, but I don't know what makes it bloom. I think I remember they bloom in winter. Any culitivation tips are welcome!

Susan, like all your plants, especially, #3 and #9! 8>) So glad to see other postings in this forum. Sorry cannot help you with any cultivation tips; I do 'goggle' a lot about my plants and naturally, check DG. Thanks for sharing.

I think #2 is Ibervillea tenuisecta and #7 is a Monadenium, probably M. guentherii or M. montanum.

Great caudiciforms. Thanks for sharing!

I was just looking at my plants and I can't believe how much my dorstenia grew this year. It, at least, tripled in size.

Susan what a collection you have! I'm into fatplants to!! Where did you pick all of yours up or did you grow them from seeds?

SallyD luv your dorstenia. Look at all the flowers!

Donna,
I have gotten some from Glasshouse Works, Arid Lands, Miles' To Go, Logee's, Top Tropicals, Old Man Cactus, and from Dennis Hoidal (a local grower). I didn't grow any from seed intentionally, but a couple have reseeded volunteers that I have kept.

SallyD,
I really have to try your growing methods. As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and you certainly have good pudding!

Indeed ;)

The Fockia edulis is in bloom, for the first time, I think. Not a beauty, but interesting.
