Cool Breeze - cuke
I grew cool breeze last year, it is crispy and very mild in flavor. The skin is thin too. A nice cucumber.
Mine are still germinating! Just up. I'm jealous, but that's Berkeley!
No need to be jealous. :-) This year the cukes I do have planted aren't even blooming yet.
It sounds like I am ahead of many people. Yep, I can imagine, roseone, that Berkeley weather is a bit cooler than mine.

I picked my first four cukes today, only 52 days after planting. They're Marketmore 76, and we had 'em for supper - sliced with onions in ice-cold vinegar and water. Other dishes were our first green beans of the year and garden zucchini fried in olive oil.
Good summertime eating that I've missed.
