Too late to cut back Annabelles?

Okay, not very wise of me, but I live in Illinois and really should have cut my Annabelle waaay down at least a month ago. Is it too late to do so? What can I expect when I do?

If you cut them back now they probably wont bloom. Best to cut late fall or early spring.

Thanks, Gary. I learned my lesson to remember to cut back in the spring. Right now I'm looking at a sloppy mess!
