HI ALL:
Two years ago (this is the 3rd season) I planted dryroot Maximillians and they were GREAT. In late summer I had a 9 foot wall covered in the greatest profusion of 3-4" flowers from the ground up.
Last year the plants came up great and in even spread out BUT.... as the plant grew the bottom of the stems lost all the leaves so I wound up with tall stalks with oonly the top 1/3 to 1/2 having leaves and flowers.
The same is happening this year.
Any clues????? Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!
