sunflowers, zinnias, echinacea, cosmos, nasturtium, black-eyed susan vine, and morning glories? I had an accident in late March and am behind in my gardening plans. Will I still be able to plant these this weekend and get blooms before the first frost? I am in St. Joseph, which is in NW Missouri. Thanks!
Is it too late to start these seeds:
What harm can it do? With the kind of weather we get here in Missouri, it may be 80 degrees on Thanksgiving.
Pleeease not 80* on Thanksgiving!!!!
I should have mentioned these were from seeds. Thanks!
P.S. I got some great seed deals yesterday at Kmart. All of their seeds were 40% off. I got some unusual ones from the Martha Stewart Collection. Just a heads up. Dawn
I was just reading in the news paper that now is a great time to start perennials inside and then transplant seedlings the end of summer. You wouldn't get any blooms this season, but should have a strong hearty root system for next seasons blooms
Yep. As long as you keep them well watered they should do ok.
