How best to trim lavender to keep it a pretty shape? I planted a pot a couple years ago and it's now HUGE but the very center seems to be drying. I don't want to cut out the center and have it be an ugly shape. Suggestions?

I hope it's just dry, the very center may also be getting a fungus that many lavender do during rainy season.
