Hydrangea festival at Rosebank Farm

Charleston, SC(Zone 8a)

If you live within drivng distance of Charleston I reccomend you attend this event next year. The most incredible varity of hydrangeas!! and all the cuttings you could want.

"Tours and lectures will be held both days by Sidi Limehouse and knowledgeable professionals from the plant industry who will be able to answer questions (correctly!) about care, variety and location - all the information one will need to become a successful hydrangea grower. The first tour will start at 10 a.m., second tour at 2 p.m. Lunch will be served at noon, allowing attendees to enjoy things grown at Rosebanks. Various cultivars of oakleaf, mophead and lacecap as well as pinniculatas will be on display. Rosebank Farms has over 2,000 hydrangeas in its collection. Many of the new varieties, as well as the old standbys, will be available for purchase. There will be over 500 established hydrangeas to choose from. In addition, visitors can also tour Rosebank's new rose gardens with 300 roses adaptable to the lowcountry.
