I live near the Chatahoochee River in Gwinnett. I have deer in my yard constantly. Is there ANYTHING perennial I can plant that they won't chew to the ground? I have put netting around my annuals, planted spiderwort (eaten), lantana (eaten), they eat my new cherry trees but leave the neighbors' more mature tress alone. I fenced in my vegetable garden last year, and moved many of my daylilies inside the fence, but they have found a way in. Help!

Hi jtowne,

You may have better luck getting answers if you start your own thread. That way your topic question will show up on the main page of the Georgia Gardening forum and people can easily see it. Sorry about the deer troubles. :(

Coby, we were up late last night posting. Then the time rolled over at midnight. Hope your hand is better. I'll push your glasses up at the next roundup if it hasn't healed.
Thanks everyone for the comments. jtowne I'll dmail you with what I did about the deer problem.

CoreHH,

Did you make that sprinkler from parts?? That is a great idea!! LOL

Sprinkler is basicly left overs. You can get pretty creative with PVC pipe. LOL.

Commerce, GA(Zone 8a)

jtowne, go to your dollar store or whatever &buy a big box of "Irish Spring" soap. cut it into small chunks, place chunks all around your plants. works for me, have deer here in Commerce too. good luck, Melba
