Jubaea Palm planted around 1984 Oakland Palmatum
looks good to me. Mine is ummm well smaller.
And here's that same tree today (9/26/2013). Just over 8-feet of clean vertical trunk and right at 12-feet in circumference.
That's a good bit of growth. Never see any this part of the world so I'm not familiar with them. The first photo looks like a cross between a cycad and a palm, maybe a Macrozamia and a CIDP.
