Last iris bloom for 07

I'm turning her into an Iris addict.
Thanks Laetitia, yes grannymarsh is my mother & yes i am turning into an iris addict. only about 300 more varieties to go, right mom. I'm also turning into a daylily addict. Must make more flower beds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's talk about iris addiction. I got it baaad.
Historic iris addiction. Mussst make more rrooom for hisstorics!
(Mussst mollify hubby who insists on strewing mulch over basking rhizomes! And on my growing other things amongst beds of iris!)
PS Is this iris (the fuzzy one, sorry) familiar? Looks sorta like Caprice? It's another spontaneously-arising iris. There are so many. Like that coral-pink ruffly one.
(Some lilies grow quite well amongst iris. I am starting to like tall skinny lillies very much. What else will bloom happily amongst iris?)

I have left now are five Wabash blooming.
Now I'm thinking of next year, and where to plant the rhizomes that will be arriving by mail any day now . . .
You guys. Extend your season. Iris season of course.
Think spurias. Think sibs. Many sibs. More and more sibs. More and more spurias.
inanda
