No I don't mean to abuse our lil webbed toed friends. I'm speaking of tricrytis. As anyone used them for cuts? I have a hundred or so buckets in the nursery but rarily have business during the late summer-early fall when they're in bloom so I thought I might put them to use in arramgements w/ large leaves such as striped canna leaves, ostrich fern and/or cast iron leaves to back drop their delicate beauty. It's such as waste to see all those beautiful stems of blooms going un-appreciated.

Gee - never tried. Sure would like to find out.
I'm going to give it a shot. Never know until you try.

I cut a couple of blooming branches for my elderly neighbor. She was positively impressed with how well they lasted. I don't know how long, but she always has cut flowers around.
Marcia,
that good to hear.
