Links to "beginner" sites

Hello all,
I have been enjoying your forum--wonder if someone could post some links to previous threads, or other sites, for those of us just beginning.
Some good basic information and recipes for building from the ground up to bring a newby up to speed.
I have been reading tapla's post, and trying to absorb the information. Need to know some more basics to really understand.
Thanks in advance,
Jody

For decorative containers, this was in an older thread I happened upon recently. Quite a few of the gallery photos list the plants used, but many do not. But I found it really helpful, particularly the examples of basic concepts of design and display. Not sure if this is the type of thing you are looking for, but thought I'd pass it on.
