Honeysuckle?

Brookeville, MD(Zone 7a)

I really love the honeysuckle's scent, I think it's my favorite scent. But it's japonica and I hate the invasiveness and would like to replace it with something native to MD. Are there any with a great/strong scent?

That link is Lonicera / Honeysuckles that grow in Maryland. Some are native, some aren't. I read somewhere that the native L. sempervirens is not particularly fragrant, but the variety called L. sempervirens 'Blanche Sandman' is fragrant. There may be other fragrant natives on that list, I don't know.
