Is there any problem with a trumpet vine planted in a sunny wetland area near the well?

To elaborate, I know the leaves can be "poisonous to the skin" - rashes etc. I just wanted to make sure I was not poisoning my ground water. Knowing this is a very invasive plant, that could be a real crisis huh ...
