Should I strike up the blowtorch?

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

I just got this canna this year, and this looks like virus to me. It is supposed to be Perkeo, but I see no white flecks on the leaves. Glad it's in a container. A close up follows

Here is a close up, with the cross-hatching of the leaves. Mosaic virus?

One more -sorry so fuzzy. Is it true that all cannas are carriers of virus and only some show it?

They look Quite healthy to me .
I'm going to go and have my eyes checked today .
Those Pics looked a bit fussy to me .

Might be the 3 Woodstocks I had earlier ?

Livermore, CA(Zone 9b)

what are woodstocks? ale? Snoopy's friend was named woodstock - !

Brisvegas, Australia(Zone 12b)

Woodstocks are Bourbon & Cola .
Pre mixed Cans .
Pic will follow later today .

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

They are fuzzy, I'm sorry my hands aren't too steady and our camera has a long delay. I have to take a ton of pictures and delete almost all of them to get a few worth saving.

I thought you were going somewhere else with the Woodstocks, but pre-mixed cans? Sounds like the kind of convenience we could use over here

Livermore, CA(Zone 9b)

well, I'll be.... bourbon in a can. very nice, it sounds like you're enjoying yourself today!

Canna - are you going to hold off on the blowtorch?

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Well, I'm looking for someone that knows about this stuff better than I do to give an honest assessment on whether or not the plant is diseased. So yes, no flames until I know for sure. :)

I really think they are quite pretty. Does the virus kill the plant?

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

The virus does eventually kill the plant.

Clemmons, NC(Zone 7b)

Paul, I really appreciate you taking a look. I thought that the cross hatching in the leaves was the kiss of death.

Hope you feel better

Some cannas have a natural light and dark color striping in the leaves and they are healthy.

I appreciate everyone's input, please if anyone thinks this is mosaic or yellow virus,(or whatever the third one is I don't know) please feel free to email me or post. Thanks!
