Is there another name??

Is there another name for this type of iris ? I received it from my Aunt who got it from my Grandmother. She just called it ''tall iris''.

The leaves are thiner than bearded and almost always have a little crinkle . In full bloom now in my zone .

I am going to hazard a guess of Louisiana Iris 'Black Gamecock'. I could be wrong, though!!

I too believe your iris is a Louisiana Iris. However, there are SO many purples in LA irises that it would be rather difficult to positively ID that one.
