I have had this Clematis for a very long time and it always blooms beautifully. I prune it back almost to the ground every year. I'm sure it is a pretty common clematis. Just not sure which one.

And another view, I was out early this morning, so this picture is a little dark not to mention the drizzle I was standing in. But look at all the blooms open and a whole lot more to come.

Thank you Jeanne, I think your right. Funny I ordered 3 of those from the Clematis Co-op this year as gifts. I really liked them not realizing that is exactly what I have. LOL
