Just because I failed to get most of my 2006 iris orders into the ground last summer doesn't mean I wasn't without maiden blooms. Most of my irises are now cataloged in my garden journal, but I wanted to begin to share those that were new flowers to me this year.
This will be done in order of bloom. Where several were the same day, they will be alphabetical. I like comments along the way. LOL.

This one of course no one would post, but I was excited about getting it to open at all. Next year it will be gorgeous and fully opened. This is all the more it opened until one day it was brown and shriveled.
