This is a new bug in my garden this year. They crawl very fast so they aren't aphids. any help?

Is that another picture of the squashed bug? I'd wait to see what they become as adults. So many nymphs (babies) are not in pictorial guides so that we can recognize them at that stage of their lives. I noticed in the other photo it had half wings, so the next stage would be adulthood with full wings.
You could also observe if it is feeding on plant tissue with its strawlike mouth part, or on insects. The former is considered a bad guy, the latter a good guy. You can destroy the plant eater and let the insect eater live.
And how big is this bug? There isn't a reference object - like a coin.
