Gourding corner in use!

I finally set up a corner of the garage for gourd work! I'm excited.

Here's a little dipper I've been working on.

Clumsily copying Ginger Summitt's "guiro" --

These are the natural markings on this one, and it will simply be tidied up and sealed with beeswax. I think it's gorgeous.

And a "shekere" I've been working on -- and my arm is nowhere near THAT big! That's the perspective the camera gave it. I was appalled when I saw that, as the shekere is over a foot tall, so my elbow must be 3 feet around!
