Berkeley, CA(Zone 9a)

I'm posting this in Veggie and Soil, so please excuse the same question. Is there a difference between hydrated lime and agricultural lime? I've used both and they do look different. Thanks.

Hydrated lime is Calcium Hydroxide which is made by slaking lime with water.

Agricultural Lime is pulverized limestone or chalk and the primary ingredient is Calcium carbonate that hasn't been activated by water yet.
