Any one know if its a Perenial?

(Zone 1)

Tender Perennial - USDA 10 ,11

Probably best treated as an Annual but you can try baby it through a winter. It will produce pods of seeds though that can be saved for next year.

Paul i managed to just get mine through winter in a cold greenhouse... purely by accident as i didn't clear out before winter.. And 100% sure its colder in my greenhouse over winter than any winter you have outside....
also my winter is longer the plant has only just put out leaves and its summer now so could be no flowers for me this year.

It's perennial here in Houston--we had about 5 freezes last winter--one pretty strong (29F) for here.
