hens and chickens in a frame filled with peat moss?

I have a large giraffe frame that is filled with peat moss. Will hens and chickens grow there?

I don't know if they'll like being in pure peat moss--for pretty much any type of plants you're probably better off mixing the peat with some other things. If you look at the sticky thread in this forum on water movement in containers I know there are some good potting mix recipes in there.
