Open gardens Memorial Day weekend at Stoney Creek Iris, about ten minutes from Harrisburg; Dmail if you'd like directions. If you've seen the big West Coast operations with huge fields and weed-free beds.........this isn't like that at all. I've got a couple acres, about a thousand varieties, and weeds out the wazoo. The iris are gorgeous and Memorial Day weekend should be the high point for the year.

Just wanted to bump this up to remind everyone. Blooms are everywhere at Stoney Creek. Treat yourself to a day of irises if you have time and meet Katie, she's a great person to talk to.
