Apparently we don't have enough food in the house
for our cats. One of them felt the need to stock up
for winter.
Unbeknownst to us, this nasty thing was in our bedroom.
Thankfully, I have a great sense of smell and knew walking
in the front door something was amiss.
Nasty!
Uh, yeah. Thanks.
How funny!

Ha ha ha!

Well, at least your cats do something about the ones that get inside. Mine corner the mice and stare at them. We have to either trap them or grab the younger ones by the tails to toss them outside. None of our cats and not even our dogs will kill them. What really irks me about the mice getting in the house is that they give my indoor only cats fleas which I then have to treat. It's particularly bad in the fall.
