Cybister Ruby Meyer

My Tatty old Ruby Meyer bulb has rewarded me for buying her. It was the last bulb in the box, and not in the best of condition. But with love and care she is flowering now, she's beautiful and I love her!

My H. Ruby Meyer only had one stem, but four perfect flowers. I pollenated them with four different Hippeastrum cultivars, two of them have worked, and the seed pods are huge. The biggest pod is from a H. Reggae cross, the other H. Merengue. For a plant with such a delicate reputation, I was surprised how well it set seed.
