Could the moss be Racomitrium canescens (Roadside Rock Moss): http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symbol=RACA11
Is the Lichen Placopsis gelida (Bull's Eye)?
Just a guess but I'd imagine there's quite a difference between moss & lichen from here and there.

Hi growin,
I don't know, but the Racomitrium canescens Moss seems to be different than mine, it has some Star shaped things (leaves?) instead.

You can also see the brown things (Seed pods?) on my Moss Closeup photo.

The Lichen...Mine dosen't have any spots in the center of the patches, if that means anything, or matters.

The moss looks alot like 'Dry Rock Moss' Grimmia sp.

That does look a bit closer. Is that area alpine-dry? The lichens remind me of lichens in interior/dry areas here.

Yes, it is a somewhat alpine-dry area.
