What other plants go well with Hydrangeas? My bed gets dappled northern sun for most of the day.

If your soil is acidic then any acid loving plants will flourish there. Some ideas for your list: ferns, azaleas, astilbe, bleeding hearts, caladiums, camellias, columbines, heucheras, holly, hosta, mahonia, magnolia, mountain laurel, spider wort, vibirnum? Make sure that the plants that you select will do well in your zone!
