This is my first blooms on this one, grown from seed last year.. It is almost black, called "Negro" black.. Can't wait for all of them to open.

They are almost 5 feet tall and have buds all the way up and down,can't wait for all of them to open.

Oh, my, that is really nice! I have 2 hollyhocks, but they don't have any stem yet. I sure hope they bloom this year! I dont know their colors, but I sure hope at least one is that dark black color.

That is the same color that's in 'Pennie Black' Nemophilia. They should bloom around the same time (not sure about in GA, but they should bloom at the same time in the midwest) .

Gorgeous! I'm afraid this year I am going to have nothing but "rust" on all the leaves and may have to just do without. I saved seed from last year so can try again. Some years I have good luck, but others it just doesn't pay to fight it.
