strawberry plants

what is the best strawberry plants for organic gardens. I am looking for plants that produce large berries. Have no idea what kind to purchase. would like to have them produce from spring till september if there is such a plant.

You want the everbearing sort then, they will produce fruit throughout the growing season. Not sure if it'll go all the way from spring til September in your climate or not, but the other sort are the June bearing strawberries and they only bear once. Sorry I don't have more specifics, I just know those are the two different types but I'm sure there are multiple varieties of each, hopefully someone else can give you some more specific advice.
