Solanum wendlandii

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

There were two Solanums planted together, one was wendlandii, and another was labled with Costa Rica on it. I think the wendlandii took a hit and is trying to come back. They appear so alike I can't tell a difference. Anyone else?

It looks like S. wendlandii to me, take a look at the pics here and see what you think

Its common name is Costa Rican nightshade, so I wonder if you didn't have two of the same plant?
