CLOSED: New one for me- need ID confirmed.

I thought an American Crow but I want to be 100% sure. This is the smaller of the 2, the other one (which was really large) was breaking off long tree branches and taking them elsewhere. Thanks!

I have more pics if needed.

Well now I'm not so sure; it could be a Fish Crow too. I'll have to listen more carefully next time their around.

It looks like an American crow.

If you had two birds, clearly different sizes, the chances are good that the smaller was a Fish Crow, the larger an American Crow.

Any pics of the larger one?

No sorry I wasn't able to get a pic of the other but they were definitely different in size. Would they intermingle like that? I did do a little reading on them and was sad to see how badly the American Crow had been hurt by west nile virus.

Heres another pic of this one, he was sleeping most of the time.

According to Sibley, yes, they do often mix with each other
