covering fiberboard boxes

Greensboro, AL

I would like to cover some boxes that would look as good as these at the Container Store, but cost a lot less. These are quite expensive. I am thinking of faux leather or linen for the covers. For the label windows, I have some foam sheets. I would like to make 20 or 30 matching or coordinated boxes to organize my office. And also, beading and sewing supplies. I have some sturdy, but ugly nested boxes that I found at the local dollar store. My question is: what should I use for glue, and any other suggestions about making fabric-covered storage boxes, and applying the label hardware.
