Seeds to Seeds
Dimmer, your seed pods need to be allowed to dry and start to split open before the seeds will be ready.
The answer is no, they are not ready, a long way to go yet. When they are ready the seeds should be black and papery and have a thickened area in the centre.
It looks like the stem has been cut off the plant, which I'm assuming is a Hippeastrum (amaryllis). They won't mature if they are cut from the plant.
