Okay sorry Victor I didn't see the rose New Dawn but I purchased the Queen Elizabeth (I hope it works out). Anyhow I also bought a clematis. I would like to plant them so the clematis will grow into the rose climber. How close do I plant them??? TIA.

Victor is down with Mickey Mouse, so in his absence I'll just tell you that I planted 'Royalty' clematis with my 'Queen Elizabeth' many years ago and the clematis is about 18" from the base of the rose. Enjoy.
Pirl do you like the climbing queen elizabeth? Is it a pretty bush? I know nothing about roses.

Mine is not the climber but I do enjoy the roses. Mine is a Grandiflora. For me the first year is the best year.
