How do I get rid of it.
When I first noticed them coming out of the ground, I noticed a patch of moss besides it and there was rust all ove rthe moss and when I rubbed it they flew into the air. I suppose this is where it came from, but this happens every year. I can never clear out the rust on these pulpets.
Any ideas on what I can do?
Is this rust o n my pulpets
rust is a fungal disease and from my understanding fungus and molds spores float around in the air. certain plants and cultivars are more susceptible to various fungus.
usually happens hot days and cool nights clears up in summer, i'd try a fungicide.
or a different plant choice if it's too bothersome.
maybe a cultivar with a better immunity.
Looks like rust to me. I didn't know Jacks got rust. I actually have never heard of them getting ANY diseases.
